Is the TV show Southland good?

I just want to find a nice tv show for watching. Is the show southland worth watching? If it is nice, I will buy the Southland discount on DVDs. Thank you.

A4: More than good, it's awesome. I really like this show. It's gritty and it pushes the envelope when it comes to cop drama. I've seen a lot of cop shows and I can tell you that this is different. The aesthetic is different - in the sense that it is shot in a different way, sort of guerrilla-style, like a documentary. It is a really good show for watching!
